Datasheets
  • γPAK Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 2-41 at the N-terminus of γPAK of human origin
  • recommended for detection of γPAK p62 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine, bovine and porcine
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for γPAK Antibody (G-10) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with γPAK Antibody (G-10) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

γPAK Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects γPAK in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). γPAK, a serine/threonine kinase, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by interacting with the small GTPases Rac1 and Cdc42, which are pivotal in regulating various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal dynamics and cell motility. γPAK modulates the activity of these GTPases; upon binding to their active GTP-bound forms, γPAK inhibits their intrinsic GTPase activity, leading to autophosphorylation at key sites such as Ser 141 and Thr 402. This phosphorylation is essential for γPAK activation and subsequent dissociation from the Rac/Cdc42 complex, allowing γPAK to engage with downstream substrates like Mek kinase, which is integral to the JNK signaling pathway. Anti-γPAK antibody (G-10) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the intricate signaling networks that govern cell behavior and response to external stimuli.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-137208 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
