    SEE ALSO...

Gab 3 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Gab 3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Gab 3 (F-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Gab (GRB2-associated binder)/DOS family of adaptor proteins, which includes Gab 3, plays a pivotal role in cellular signaling by acting as molecular scaffolds that facilitate protein recruitment to receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). Such recruitment is essential for propagating signaling cascades initiated by cytokine and growth factor interactions with RTKs, ultimately leading to cellular responses such as activation, proliferation, and differentiation. Gab 3 contains pleckstrin homology domains and potential binding sites for SH2 and SH3 domain-containing proteins, which are crucial for phosphorylation-dependent recruitment of signaling partners. The human Gab3 gene, located on chromosome Xq28, encodes a 586 amino acid protein that is integral to insulin receptor and epidermal growth factor receptor signaling pathways, underscoring Gab 3′s significance in mediating cellular responses to extracellular stimuli.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376456 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
