Gab 2 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Gab 2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Gab 2 (H-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Gab 2 protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in growth factor receptor activation. Gab 2 functions as an adapter protein that facilitates signal transmission from activated receptor tyrosine kinases to downstream signaling molecules, influencing cellular responses such as proliferation and differentiation. Gab 2 interacts with SH2 domain-containing proteins, including SHP2, which is essential for mediating cytokine-induced gene activation. Such interaction links extracellular signals to intracellular responses, making Gab 2 vital for regulating various biological processes. Gab 2′s ability to form complexes with other signaling proteins orchestrates complex signaling networks, critical for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental cues.
