G3BP1 Antibody (TT-Y) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects human G3BP1 by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). G3BP1 Antibody (TT-Y) is available as the non-conjugated anti-G3BP1 antibody (TT-Y) form. G3BP1, or GTPase activating protein (SH3 domain) binding protein 1, plays a significant role in cellular processes, particularly in RNA metabolism and signal transduction regulation. G3BP1 is predominantly located in proliferating cell cytoplasm and translocates to the nucleus in non-proliferating cells, highlighting a dynamic role in cellular function. G3BP1′s ability to shuttle between these compartments enables helicase and endoribonuclease functions, unwinding RNA and DNA duplexes and cleaving mRNA to influence gene expression and cellular responses. G3BP1 participates in the Ras signaling pathway, interacting with Ras GTPase-activating protein to modulate signaling events critical for cell growth and differentiation.
