SEE ALSO...

fzr Antibody (DCS-266) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects fzr protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-fzr antibody (DCS-266) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. fzr protein, also known as Fizzy-related protein, plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation and is a member of the 7WD domain family, which is conserved across eukaryotic species. fzr protein negatively regulates the levels of key mitotic cyclins, including cyclins A, B, and B3, thereby influencing cell cycle progression. Loss of fzr protein can lead to abnormal cell division, resulting in an extra division cycle in the epidermis and inhibiting endoreduplication in the salivary gland, which can significantly impact cellular growth and differentiation. Overexpression of fzr protein can disrupt normal mitotic processes, transforming mitotic cycles into endoreduplication cycles, which may contribute to tumorigenesis. Recent studies highlight fzr protein′s emerging role in enhancing B-lymphoma cells′ susceptibility to natural killer cell cytotoxicity, suggesting potential therapeutic applications in cancer treatment.
