SEE ALSO...

Fyn Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Fyn protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Fyn (E-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Fyn, a member of the Src family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate essential processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and motility. Located primarily in the cytoplasm and at the plasma membrane, Fyn is involved in T-cell receptor signaling, which is vital for immune responses. Proper localization of Fyn is essential for the activation of downstream signaling cascades that lead to T-cell activation and function. Human Fyn gene, which maps to chromosome 6q21, encodes a 537 amino acid protein that is normally maintained in an inactive state but can be activated during cellular events like mitosis. Structural features of Fyn, including amino-terminal membrane anchor and SH3 and SH2 domains, facilitate interaction with other signaling molecules, underscoring importance in regulating various cellular processes.

I study early embryogenesis in the emerging model N. furzeri, the killifish. Fyn inhibition shows an intriguing phenotype, and I'm looking for an antibody. In a new model system, it's challenging to know what will work! Would you provide a sample?

Is sc-365913 available directly conjugated to HRP or fluorescent dyes?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. All requests for directly conjugated versions of this antibody should be directed to our Special Orders team at specialorders@scbt.com Alternatively, consider using Fyn (15): sc-434, which is another antibody against Fyn that is conjugated to several dyes and HRP, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488 and Alexa Fluor® 647
