FSHβ Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects FSH beta protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FSH beta (C-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), also known as follitropin, is a crucial glycoprotein hormone that plays a significant role in reproductive processes. FSH consists of a common alpha subunit and a unique beta subunit, with FSH beta being essential for hormone specificity and biological activity. FSH beta subunit is vital for interaction with follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR), predominantly found in Sertoli cells in males and granulosa cells in females.
