    SEE ALSO...

FRMD8 Antibody (E-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FRMD8 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FRMD8 (E-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FRMD8 protein, also known as FERM domain-containing protein 8 or FKSG44, is a 464 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a single FERM domain, which is crucial for linking cytoskeletal signals to membrane dynamics. FRMD8 is involved in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion and migration, making FRMD8 significant in developmental biology and cancer research. The gene encoding FRMD8 is located on human chromosome 11q13.1, a region known for association with several genetic disorders, including Wilms′ tumors and WAGR syndrome, highlighting FRMD8′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states. Through interactions with other cytoskeletal-associated proteins, FRMD8 plays a vital role in maintaining cellular integrity and function, making anti-FRMD8 antibody (E-11) an essential tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514186 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
