    SEE ALSO...

FOXP2 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FOXP2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FOXP2 (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FOXP2 plays a crucial role in language development and speech, making this protein a significant focus of research in understanding the genetic basis of communication disorders. Located primarily in the brain, particularly in areas associated with language processing, FOXP2 is essential for the proper development of neural circuits involved in speech and language. Mutations in FOXP2 have been linked to speech and language deficits, highlighting FOXP2′s importance in neurodevelopmental processes. The gene encoding human FOXP2 is situated on chromosome 7q31, and FOXP2 expression is tightly regulated during development, with notable activity in the basal ganglia and other brain regions. Understanding FOXP2 function and regulation is vital for unraveling the complexities of language acquisition and the potential implications of FOXP2 dysfunction in various speech and language disorders.
