FOXM1 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect FOXM1 across mouse, rat, and human species through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FOXM1 monoclonal antibody (G-5) targets a precise epitope mapping between amino acids 734-763 at the C-terminus of human FOXM1, ensuring robust and reliable binding for accurate detection and analysis. Forkhead box M1 (FOXM1), also called FKHL16, HFH11, INS-1, and PIG29, is a pivotal transcription factor characterized by its distinct forkhead or winged-helix DNA-binding domain, which facilitates the regulation of genes essential for cell cycle progression, particularly during the transition from G1 to S phase and mitosis. The structural integrity of FOXM1, including its C-terminal region where the G-5 epitope is located, is crucial for DNA interaction and regulatory protein binding, thereby influencing processes such as cellular proliferation, differentiation, and DNA repair. Proper structural conformation of FOXM1 ensures normal cell growth and tissue regeneration, while alterations in structure can lead to uncontrolled cell division and tumorigenesis, making FOXM1 a significant target in cancer research. Additionally, FOXM1 undergoes alternative splicing to produce isoforms like FOXM1A and FOXM1B, which possess distinct structural features affecting stability and function, further highlighting the importance of structural domains in regulatory capabilities. Anti-FOXM1 antibody (G-5) is available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for diverse experimental needs. FOXM1 (G-5) antibody enables researchers to effectively investigate structural and functional dynamics in both normal physiological and pathological states, thereby advancing the understanding of FOXM1′s role in diseases such as cancer and facilitating targeted therapeutic strategy development.
