FIP1L1 Antibody (C-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FIP1L1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FIP1L1 (C-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FIP1L1 protein, also known as Pre-mRNA 3′-end-processing factor FIP1, plays a crucial role in the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) complex, which is essential for proper processing of pre-mRNA. FIP1L1 is involved in recognizing the AAUAAA signal sequence, facilitating interaction with poly(A) polymerase to ensure accurate addition of the poly(A) tail, a modification vital for mRNA stability, nuclear export, and translation efficiency. FIP1L1 significantly influences gene expression regulation by impacting mRNA transcript maturation, protein synthesis, and cellular function. Fusion of FIP1L1 gene with PDGFRA due to chromosomal abnormalities can lead to hypereosinophilia syndrome, a rare condition characterized by excessive eosinophil production, resulting in severe tissue damage and organ dysfunction. FIP1L1 has three isoforms generated through alternative splicing, which may have distinct regulatory roles in cellular processes.
