FGF-7 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects fibroblast growth factor 7 (FGF-7) protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FGF-7 antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FGF-7, also known as keratinocyte growth factor (KGF), plays a crucial role in regulating epithelial cell proliferation and differentiation, particularly in skin and hair follicles, making FGF-7 essential for wound healing and tissue repair. FGF-7 is primarily secreted by mesenchymal cells and acts on epithelial cells through specific receptors, promoting cellular growth and survival. Notably, FGF-7 interacts with fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs), which are critical for mediating biological effects; these interactions are vital for maintaining epithelial tissue integrity and facilitating regeneration after injury.
