Datasheets
  • FcRn Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ, cited in 3 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against amino acids 22-276 mapping within an N-terminal extracellular domain of FcRn of mouse origin
  • recommended for detection of FcRn of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • See FcRn (B-8): sc-271745 for FcRn antibody conjugates, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488, 594, 647, 680 and 790.
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for FcRn Antibody (H-4) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with FcRn Antibody (H-4) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

FcRn Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects FcRn in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FcRn, also known as FCGRT, Brambell receptor, FcRn α chain, and IgG Gc receptor, plays a crucial role in the immune system by mediating the selective uptake of immunoglobulin G (IgG) from maternal milk in neonatal mice and rats, thereby facilitating the acquisition of passive immunity in newborns. FcRn is primarily located in the endosomes of vascular endothelial cells, where FcRn selectively recycles IgG back to the cell surface, protecting IgG from lysosomal degradation. This recycling mechanism is vital for maintaining the longevity of IgG, which are the most enduring plasma proteins, ensuring that newborns receive essential antibodies for immune defense during early development. FcRn Antibody (H-4) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying immune responses, antibody recycling, and the mechanisms of passive immunity, providing insights into both basic biology and potential therapeutic applications.

Do you offer a free sample of FcRn Antibody (H-4): sc-166413 ?

Asked by: esben axelgaard
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer a sample of sc-166413, our FcRN antibody. However, we do offer a sample of two of our other FcRN antibodies, sc-271745 SAMPLE FcRn (B-8) and sc-393064 SAMPLE FcRn (A-6). If you would like a sample of these, please contact your local distributor or our European office.
