Fc ε RIβ Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Fc ε RIβ of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Fc ε RIβ Antibody (F-1) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IgE Fc Receptor I plays a crucial role in immune response by binding with high affinity to immunoglobulin epsilon chains′ Fc region, which initiates allergic reactions. Upon allergen binding to receptor-bound IgE, cellular activation triggers release of mediators like histamines responsible for allergy symptoms. This receptor induces lymphokine secretion vital for hypersensitivity response. Structurally, Fc ε RIβ forms a tetramer with a heavily glycosylated alpha chain, beta chain, and two disulfide-linked gamma chains. Beta chain contains four transmembrane regions and long cytoplasmic domains involved in intracellular signaling pathways. Cytoplasmic domains of beta and gamma subunits contain a conserved immunoreceptor tyrosine activation motif (ITAM), where specific tyrosine residue phosphorylation drives signal transduction in mast cells and other hematopoietic cells. A variant at Glu-237 of beta subunit has been linked to increased atopic dermatitis and asthma risk, highlighting Fc ε RIβ significance in allergic diseases.
