FBLIM1 Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FBLIM1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FBLIM1 (G-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FBLIM1, also known as filamin binding LIM protein 1, CAL (CSX-associated LIM), Mig-2-interacting protein, or Migfilin, is a cytoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in cellular architecture and signaling. FBLIM1 is primarily located at cell-matrix adhesion sites, where FBLIM1 serves as a scaffold protein, linking the actin cytoskeleton to cell adhesion structures. FBLIM1 contains a proline-rich domain and two to three C-terminal LIM zinc-binding domains, which facilitate interactions with other proteins, including Filamin 3 and Mig-2. These interactions are vital for maintaining the integrity of the cytoskeleton and regulating cellular responses to mechanical stress. Additionally, FBLIM1 can translocate to the nucleus, where FBLIM1 influences gene expression, further underscoring its importance in cellular function and signaling pathways.
