    FAAP100 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects FAAP100 of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FAAP100 (C-11) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FAAP100, also known as fanconi anemia-associated protein of 100 kDa or C17orf70, is an 881 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the fanconi anemia (FA) core complex, which includes FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCL/PHF9, FANCM, and FAAP24. FAAP100 maintains stability of the FA core complex and facilitates FANCD2 monoubiquitination. Nuclear localization of FAAP100 enables complex formation with FANCB and FANCL, essential for DNA repair pathway function. FAAP100 repression leads to chromosomal instability and increased sensitivity to DNA cross-linking agents, highlighting FAAP100′s importance in maintaining genomic integrity. FAAP100 gene is located on human chromosome 17q25.3 and exists in three alternatively spliced isoforms, underscoring regulatory complexity in FAAP100 function.
