ETEA Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects ETEA in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ETEA, also known as UBX domain-containing protein 8 (UBXD8), is a 445-amino acid protein that plays a significant role in the pathophysiology of atopic dermatitis (AD), a chronic inflammatory skin condition characterized by eczematous lesions. ETEA is predominantly expressed in T cells and eosinophils of individuals suffering from AD, indicating potential involvement in inflammatory processes associated with this disease. ETEA′s location within immune cells is crucial, as T cells are key regulators of inflammation, and their dysregulation can lead to persistent symptoms of AD. Furthermore, ETEA may contribute to the resistance to apoptosis observed in T cells and eosinophils of AD patients, which is a critical factor in the chronicity of the disease. Anti-ETEA antibody (H-6) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying atopic dermatitis and explore potential therapeutic targets for intervention.
