Datasheets
  • ETAR Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against amino acids 21-80 mapping within an N-terminal extracellular domain of ETAR of mouse origin
  • Anti-ETAR Antibody (F-12) is recommended for detection of ETAR of mouse and rat origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • Anti-ETAR Antibody (F-12) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for ETAR Antibody (F-12) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with ETAR Antibody (F-12) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

ETAR Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Endothelin Receptor Type A (ETAR) in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ETAR (F-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Endothelin receptor A (ETAR), also known as EDNRA, ET1 Receptor, ETA, EDN1, and ET-AR, is a crucial member of the guanine-binding regulatory protein-coupled receptor family, primarily responsible for mediating the effects of endothelins, particularly ET1, which ETAR binds with the highest affinity compared to the ETBR receptor. ETAR activation plays a significant role in various physiological processes, including vascular tone and blood pressure regulation, leading to increased cytoplasmic calcium concentration in cultured lens epithelial cells and inducing arachidonic acid accumulation. ETAR is characterized by seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains and is predominantly expressed in tissues such as aorta, lung, atrium, kidney, placenta, and prostate, with placental vascular smooth muscle cells (PVSMCs) being a unique expression site. ETAR localization and function understanding is vital, as dysregulation is implicated in various cardiovascular diseases, making ETAR a significant target for therapeutic intervention.
