ET-1 Antibody (C7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ET-1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ET-1 antibody (C7) is available as the non-conjugated format. The human endothelin family includes three isoforms: endothelin-1, endothelin-2, and endothelin-3, with endothelin-1 being a critical 21-amino acid peptide produced by vascular endothelial cells. This peptide plays a vital role in regulating vascular tone and blood pressure, as endothelin-1 is a potent vasoconstrictor that can significantly influence cardiovascular health.
