SEE ALSO...

ERp46 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ERp46 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ERp46 Antibody (C-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ERp46, also known as thioredoxin domain containing 5 (TXNDC5), plays a crucial role in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) by facilitating protein folding and maintaining redox homeostasis. ERp46′s ability to reduce disulfide bonds is vital for proper maturation of secretory and membrane proteins, which is essential for cellular function and survival. ERp46 expression is upregulated in response to low oxygen levels, helping protect cells from apoptosis under hypoxic conditions. This protective mechanism is particularly important in tissues prone to hypoxia, such as the liver, where ERp46 is abundantly expressed. Anti-ERp46 antibody (C-11) enables researchers to investigate ERp46′s role in cellular stress responses and potential implications in diseases associated with ER dysfunction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This antibody is too bad to be used.I have tested the antibody and compared it with antibody produced by Genscript. The data showed that the antibody C-11 and F-3 can not recognize the protein in human platelet lysate and mouse platelet lysate, while antibody produced by Genscript can work better.
