ERp46 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ERp46 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ERp46 Antibody (C-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ERp46, also known as thioredoxin domain containing 5 (TXNDC5), plays a crucial role in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) by facilitating protein folding and maintaining redox homeostasis. ERp46′s ability to reduce disulfide bonds is vital for proper maturation of secretory and membrane proteins, which is essential for cellular function and survival.
