SEE ALSO...

Ero1-Lα Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ero1-L alpha protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Ero1-Lα (D-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ero1-La, also known as endoplasmic oxidoreductin-1-like or ERO1A, plays a critical role in oxidative protein folding within the endoplasmic reticulum, essential for proper protein maturation and function. Ero1-La facilitates disulfide bond formation, a key post-translational modification that stabilizes protein structures, by working with protein disulfide isomerase (PDI). Ero1-La and PDI interaction enables efficient folding of immunoglobulins, crucial for immune response. Hypoxia regulates Ero1-La through the hypoxia-inducible transcription factor pathway, indicating significance in cellular responses to low oxygen levels. While most tissues express low levels of Ero1-La, significantly higher expression occurs in the upper digestive tract and esophagus, suggesting a specialized role in these regions. Ero1-La functions as both a monomer and homodimer, highlighting versatility in cellular processes.
