SEE ALSO...

ERK 3 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ERK 3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ERK 3 Antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ERK 3 protein, also known as MAPK6, plays a crucial role in mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathways, which are essential for regulating various cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and response to stress. Notably, ERK 3 (B-10) antibody recognizes a protein involved in cellular response to growth factors and can be activated by serum and phorbol esters. ERK 3′s unique characteristic of localizing to the nucleus upon activation, despite the absence of a definitive nuclear localization sequence, highlights ERK 3′s importance in mediating intracellular defense mechanisms during cellular stress. The human ERK 3 gene is located on chromosome 15q21.2 and encodes a protein consisting of 721 amino acids, making ERK 3 a significant player in cellular signaling networks.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-365234 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
