SEE ALSO...

Epiregulin Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Epiregulin protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Epiregulin antibody (C-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Epiregulin (EPR, EREG) is an epidermal growth factor (EGF)-related peptide that plays a crucial role in regulating cell growth and differentiation. EPR activates the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and ErbB4, which are key players in cell signaling pathways that control proliferation and survival. EPR interaction with these receptors promotes cell growth and influences various physiological processes, including wound healing and tissue repair. EPR shows upregulation in pancreatic cancer, contributing to tumor growth and progression, making EPR a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Epiregulin monoclonal antibody (C-9) versatility in various applications allows researchers to explore EPR′s role in both normal physiology and disease states, providing valuable insights into EPR function and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target.

Are there any issues with using sc-376284: Epiregulin (C-9) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-376284 conjugates.
