SEE ALSO...

EphB6 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects EphB6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EphB6 Antibody (D-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EphB6, a member of the Eph receptor family, plays a crucial role in cell signaling processes essential for the development and function of the central nervous system. EphB6 interacts with ephrin ligands, which are vital for mediating cell-cell communication during developmental processes. This interaction influences neuronal positioning and connectivity, thereby impacting synaptic plasticity and overall brain function. The Eph receptor family, which includes various subtypes such as EphA and EphB, represents the largest group of receptor protein tyrosine kinases identified to date, highlighting EphB6′s significance in both normal physiology and potential pathological conditions. Anti-EphB6 antibody (D-7) serves as a valuable tool for researchers investigating the roles of Eph receptors in development and disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-398795: EphB6 (D-7) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-398795 conjugates.
