Endoglin Antibody (43A3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Endoglin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Endoglin, also known as CD105, plays a crucial role in angiogenesis and vascular remodeling, making Endoglin essential for maintaining normal blood vessel structure and function. Endoglin is primarily located on the surface of vascular endothelial cells, where Endoglin interacts with members of the TGFβ superfamily, including TGFβ1, TGFβ3, Activin-A, BMP-2, and BMP-7, to regulate endothelial cell proliferation and migration. Endoglin′s location in cells is critical, as Endoglin expression is vital for proper vascular development and repair processes. Mutations in the Endoglin gene are associated with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), a disorder characterized by abnormal blood vessel formation and increased risk of bleeding. Anti-Endoglin antibody (43A3) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of vascular biology and the pathogenesis of diseases related to vascular dysfunction.
