SEE ALSO...

ELL2 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ELL2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ELL2, or RNA polymerase II elongation factor ELL2, is a 640 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of transcription elongation by RNA polymerase II. Anti-ELL2 antibody (G-5) helps researchers study how ELL2 suppresses transient pausing of polymerase at various DNA sites, facilitating smooth transcription processes. ELL2 monoclonal antibody (G-5) enables investigation of a unique RNA polymerase II interaction domain that can negatively regulate polymerase activity during promoter-specific transcription initiation in vitro. ELL2 (G-5) antibody serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying transcription regulation and its implications in various biological processes and diseases.

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with ELL2 (G-5): sc-376611 monoclonal antibody?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend fixing cells for 5 minutes in -10°C methanol and allowing to air dry. The full protocol can be viewed here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
