ELL Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ELL of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ELL (B-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ELL, also known as the 11-19 lysine-rich leukemia protein, plays a crucial role as an elongation factor for RNA polymerase II, significantly enhancing transcription by alleviating transient pauses during elongation. This function is vital for gene expression regulation, ensuring efficient synthesis of mature messenger RNA, which is essential for proper cellular function and proliferation.
