    SEE ALSO...

eIF3K Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects eIF3K protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-eIF3K antibody (F-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. eIF3K protein, also known as Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit K or Muscle-specific gene M9 protein, plays a crucial role in translation initiation, a fundamental process for protein synthesis in cells. As the smallest subunit of the eIF3 complex, eIF3K is essential for the assembly of the 40S ribosomal subunit, facilitating the binding of methionyl-tRNAi and mRNA, and interacting with other initiation factors to form the 40S initiation complex. This protein is highly conserved across various species, including mammals, insects, and plants, and is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues, highlighting its importance in cellular function. eIF3K is located in both the nucleus and cytoplasm, where eIF3K colocalizes with cyclin D3, a key regulatory subunit of cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (Cdk4), indicating its potential involvement in cell cycle regulation and proliferation. anti-eIF3K antibody (F-4) in multiple formats makes this product a versatile tool for researchers studying translation initiation and its implications in various biological processes and diseases.
