Egr-1 Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Egr-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Egr-1 antibody (B-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Egr-1, a member of the early growth response (Egr) family of transcription factors, plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as mitogenesis and differentiation by binding to specific DNA sequences, thereby regulating transcription of target genes. Egr-1 (B-6) monoclonal antibody targets proteins primarily located in the nucleus, where Egr-1 acts as a transcriptional activator in response to extracellular stimuli, highlighting Egr-1′s importance in cellular signaling pathways. Egr-1 is rapidly induced by various signals, including growth factors and stress, and undergoes complex regulatory mechanisms, including post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation and glycosylation, which can influence activity and stability. Understanding Egr-1 function and regulation is vital, as dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disorders, making Egr-1 (B-6) antibody an essential tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.

Hello I am planning on buying this but my target is zebrafish egr1(Egr-1 (B-6): sc-515830 mouse monoclonal antibody). The paper i read had good bands is there any comment on cross reactivity on zebrafish?

Thank you for your question. We have not tested on Zebra fish. There is a 57% homology for Zebra fish and we do not recommend a specie unless the homology is 95% or higher.

Dear, I bought Egr1 antibody (sc-515830) several months ago. But it didn't give me band for WB.  I want to conjugate PE(Or FITC) to this Egr1 antibody. for flow cytometry. Could you send me the protocol about how to conjugate fluorophore to this product?

I was wondering if sc-515830 X have been tested for EMSA? I tried using the antibody for an EMSA with HEK293T extracts and probe with EGR1 binding site, however, could not see a supershift.

I used the Ab (Lot L0816) at 1:200 on total lysates from HFF – no bands whatsoever. The internal control for loading (tubulin) was clear and strong. Any suggestions?
