SEE ALSO...

EDD Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EDD protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-EDD antibody (B-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EDD protein, known as E3 identified by Differential Display, plays a crucial role in cellular processes as a progestin-regulated gene isolated from T-47D human breast cancer cells. EDD protein′s significance lies in its function as a potential tumor suppressor, sharing homology with the Drosophila hyperplastic discs (hyd) gene, which is essential for regulating imaginal disc growth. EDD protein contains a HECT (homologous to the E6-AP carboxyl terminus) domain at its carboxy terminus, which is critical for its role as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. This domain enables EDD protein to bind ubiquitin and participate in the ubiquitination process, thereby influencing protein degradation and cellular signaling pathways. EDD protein′s ability to modulate these pathways underscores its importance in cancer biology and potential therapeutic applications, making anti-EDD antibody (B-11) an invaluable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and cellular regulation.

Can I get a sample of this antibody? Previous members of my lab have used the M-19 EDD antibody and were white satisfied by it. However, we now need to change since you don't provide it anymore and we would like to test the B-11 EDD antibody.

Asked by: DominiqueL
Please contact our Technical Service Department for more information on how to receive a free 10 ug sample of this monoclonal antibody.
