E-Ras Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody raised against mouse E-Ras, a crucial member of the Ras family of small GTPases. Anti-E-Ras antibody (B-12) recognizes an epitope within the 277-amino acid E-Ras protein and demonstrates species cross-reactivity between mouse and rat samples through Western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) applications. E-Ras monoclonal antibody (B-12) is available in non-conjugated form and multiple conjugated forms including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, offering versatility for diverse experimental needs. Through significant sequence conservation with other Ras family members like H-Ras, K-Ras, and N-Ras, E-Ras functions as a sophisticated signal transducer for various extracellular growth factors, including insulin and nerve growth factor, working through protein tyrosine kinase receptors. E-Ras maintains precise localization to the cytoplasmic membrane, where E-Ras engages with downstream effectors to orchestrate signaling cascades controlling cell proliferation and survival.
