DYNC2LI1 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DYNC2LI1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-DYNC2LI1 antibody (H-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DYNC2LI1, also known as dynein, cytoplasmic 2, light intermediate chain 1, plays a crucial role in cellular processes by functioning as a motor for intraflagellar retrograde transport and contributing to cilia biogenesis. This 351 amino acid protein is part of the dynein light intermediate chain family and is essential for the assembly and transport of organelles within the cell, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. The cytoplasmic dynein complex, which includes DYNC2LI1, is composed of multiple subunits, including heavy chains and light chains, and is responsible for converting the chemical energy of ATP into mechanical movement along microtubules. DYNC2LI1 exists in five alternatively spliced isoforms, highlighting its versatility and importance in various cellular contexts.
