Dynamin Antibody (E-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Dynamin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Dynamin antibody (E-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dynamin protein plays a crucial role in endocytosis, synaptic transmission, and neurogenesis, making Dynamin essential for cellular communication and nutrient uptake. Specifically, Dynamin I is predominantly localized in the central nervous system, while Dynamin II is widely distributed throughout the body, with highest expression found in the testis. Both isoforms contain SH3 and proline-rich domains that facilitate interactions with various effectors, including microtubules and SH3 domain-containing proteins, which are vital for rapid endocytosis. Notably, Dynamin I is recruited to clathrin-coated pits through interaction with amphiphysin, a protein highly expressed in the brain, underscoring these interactions′ importance in neuronal function and signaling.
