DUX4 Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DUX4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DUX4 antibody (C-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DUX4, also known as DUX10, plays a critical role in regulating gene expression during early embryonic development and activates downstream target genes essential for proper muscle differentiation. DUX4′s ability to form homodimers enhances transcriptional activity, making DUX4 a key player in developmental processes. The gene encoding DUX4 is located within the D4Z4 repeat unit, which has been linked to Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle weakness.
