DUSP5 Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DUSP5 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DUSP5 (H-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DUSP5, a member of the dual specificity phosphatase family, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by dephosphorylating both phosphothreonine and phosphotyrosine residues, particularly within mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinases. This function helps regulate the activity of MAPK/ERK, SAPK/JNK, and p38 pathways, which are essential for various cellular processes, including growth, differentiation, and response to stress. DUSP5 expression is induced by several growth factors and cellular stresses, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing excessive signaling that could lead to pathological conditions. DUSP5 is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where DUSP5 exerts regulatory effects, and exhibits the highest phosphatase activity toward ERK1, making DUSP5 a key player in the MAP kinase signaling cascade.
