SEE ALSO...

DTYMK Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DTYMK of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DTYMK (B-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DTYMK, also known as CDC8, TMPK, TYMK, or dTMP kinase, is a 212 amino acid enzyme that plays a crucial role in pyrimidine metabolism by catalyzing the ATP-dependent conversion of deoxythymidine monophosphate (dTMP) to deoxythymidine diphosphate (dTDP). This conversion is vital as dTDP serves as one of the four nucleotides necessary for DNA synthesis, thereby making DTYMK essential for cell cycle progression and growth. Notably, DTYMK expression peaks during the S phase of the cell cycle, underscoring its importance in DNA replication and cellular proliferation. The ability of DTYMK to regulate nucleotide availability directly impacts cellular functions, including DNA repair and replication, which are critical for maintaining genomic stability and preventing diseases such as cancer.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with DTYMK (B-8): sc-365925?

Asked by: TinTin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
