    SEE ALSO...

DRG1 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DRG1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DRG1 (E-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DRG1, also known as developmentally regulated GTP binding protein 1 or NEDD3, consists of 367 amino acids and is primarily localized in the cytoplasm, where DRG1 plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. DRG1 is particularly important as DRG1 is involved in the regulation of cell growth and survival, which has implications in tumor formation and metastasis. DRG1 interacts with specific proteins like TAL1 and TAL2, which are transcription factors that influence hematopoiesis and other developmental processes. The gene encoding DRG1 is located on human chromosome 22, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Phelan-McDermid syndrome and neurofibromatosis type 2. Notably, DRG1 undergoes post-translational modifications such as polyubiquitination and sumoylation, with polyubiquitination leading to proteolytic degradation, thereby regulating DRG1 levels and activity within the cell.

What blocking solution should I use with DRG1 (E-2): sc-390030 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
