SEE ALSO...

DR6 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DR6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-DR6 antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DR6, also known as TNFRSF21, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily and plays a crucial role in mediating apoptosis and inflammatory responses. DR6 (E-4) antibody recognizes proteins primarily located on the cell surface, where DR6 interacts with TRAIL ligand to initiate apoptotic signaling pathways. This interaction is vital for regulating cell death and maintaining tissue homeostasis, as dysregulation of DR6 signaling can lead to various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. A death domain in DR6 is essential for function, allowing signal transduction of apoptotic signals effectively. Understanding DR6′s role in cellular processes provides insights into function and highlights potential therapeutic targeting in diseases characterized by aberrant apoptosis.
