DPF2 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DPF2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DPF2 (C-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DPF2, also known as D4, zinc and double PHD fingers family 2, REQ (Requiem), or UBID4, is a 391 amino acid protein that belongs to the D4 domain family and is characterized by nuclear localization and the presence of one C2H2 and two PHD-type zinc finger motifs. DPF2 functions as a transcription factor involved in apoptosis, which is programmed cell death essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and eliminating damaged cells. DPF2 regulation is particularly important, as leukemia/lymphoma-related factor (LRF) can inhibit DPF2 activity when up-regulated by integrin signaling during apoptosis. Such interaction suggests DPF2 may serve as a potential therapeutic target in cancer treatments aimed at inducing apoptosis in leukemia cells, highlighting DPF2′s significance in both normal cellular processes and disease states.
