    SEE ALSO...

DP-2 Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DP-2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DP-2 antibody (D-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DP-2 plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly in the transition from G1 phase to S phase, by interacting with E2F transcription factor family. This interaction ensures cells only progress through the cycle when conditions are favorable, making proper control of cell proliferation possible. Dysregulation of this process can lead to uncontrolled cell growth and is often implicated in cancer development. DP-2′s ability to form heterodimers with E2F-1, creating an active transcriptional regulatory complex, highlights its importance in cellular function and potential consequences of malfunction.
