    SEE ALSO...

DnaJC7 Antibody (82SS) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DnaJC7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DnaJC7 antibody (82SS) is available as the non-conjugated format. DnaJC7, also known as TPR2, TTC2, or DANJC7, is a member of the DnaJ family, which is one of the largest chaperone families and is characterized by diverse cellular localization and functions. DnaJ proteins, including DnaJC7, play a pivotal role in the heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) chaperone machinery, where DnaJC7 interacts with HSP70 to facilitate ATP hydrolysis, a critical step in protein folding and stabilization. DnaJC7 is particularly important due to involvement in the regulation of protein homeostasis, which is essential for cellular function and survival, especially under stress conditions. DnaJC7 is ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels found in the testis, liver, heart, and brain, indicating a vital role in various physiological processes. Cysteine-rich regions and zinc finger motifs in DnaJC7 contribute to peptide-binding capabilities, enhancing chaperone function and interaction with other proteins, thereby influencing pathways such as proteolysis, exocytosis, and endocytosis.

I am using DnaJC7 (82SS): sc-100716 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
