DnaJC10 Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DnaJC10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DnaJC10 Antibody (E-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DnaJC10, also known as DnaJ homolog subfamily C member 10 or ERdj5, functions as a crucial endoplasmic reticulum co-chaperone that plays a significant role in protein folding and translocation across endoplasmic reticulum membrane. DnaJC10′s ability to assist in proper folding of nascent polypeptides maintains cellular homeostasis and prevents accumulation of misfolded proteins, which can lead to cellular stress and various diseases. DnaJC10 interacts with HSP70 chaperone machinery, enhancing activity and ensuring proteins are correctly folded before proceeding to functional destinations. This interaction proves particularly important in endoplasmic reticulum, where accumulation of improperly folded proteins can trigger unfolded protein response, a cellular stress response potentially leading to apoptosis if unresolved.
