DNA pol ε B Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DNA pol epsilon B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DNA pol epsilon B antibody (C-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DNA pol epsilon B protein plays a crucial role in DNA replication, particularly in the synthesis of the leading strand, where DNA pol epsilon B ensures high-fidelity DNA synthesis and contributes to overall genome stability. DNA pol epsilon B protein functions as part of a multi-subunit complex, with its catalytic subunit encoded by the POL2 gene, which is essential for accurate replication of genetic material. Proper functioning of DNA pol epsilon B protein is vital, as replication errors can lead to mutations and genomic instability, which are hallmarks of various diseases, including cancer.
