DHODH Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects DHODH protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-DHODH antibody (E-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DHODH, or dihydroorotate dehydrogenase, is a crucial 395 amino acid mitochondrial enzyme located on the outer surface of the inner mitochondrial membrane, where DHODH plays a vital role in the fourth step of de novo pyrimidine biosynthesis. This metabolic pathway is essential for nucleic acid synthesis, making DHODH a significant target for cancer chemotherapy agents.
