    SEE ALSO...

DGCR14 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DGCR14 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-DGCR14 antibody (C-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DGCR14, also known as DiGeorge syndrome critical region 14, is a 476 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in the etiology of velocardiofacial/DiGeorge syndrome (VCFS/DGS), a developmental disorder associated with a range of anomalies including structural and functional palate defects, conotruncal cardiac malformations, immunodeficiency, hypocalcemia, and characteristic facial features. DGCR14 localizes to the nucleus, where DGCR14 co-purifies with C complex spliceosomes, highlighting potential involvement in RNA splicing and gene regulation. Disruptions in DGCR14 function due to deletions in chromosome 22q11.2 can lead to significant developmental challenges, making DGCR14 a critical target for research in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these syndromes.
