Desmoplakin I/II Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects desmoplakin in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Desmoplakin is a crucial component of desmosomes, which are specialized cell adhesion structures that provide mechanical strength and stability to tissues, particularly in the epidermis and cardiac muscle.
