DDX56 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DDX56 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX56 Antibody (F-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX56, also known as DDX21 or NOH61, plays a crucial role in ribosome synthesis, particularly in the assembly of the large 60S ribosomal subunit, which is essential for protein translation in cells. This process is vital for cellular function and growth, as ribosomes are the machinery that translates messenger RNA into proteins, thereby influencing various cellular activities and overall organismal development. DDX56 contains a helicase core region, a leucine zipper motif at its N-terminus, two putative C-terminal nuclear localization signals, and several potential phosphorylation sites, which may regulate activity and localization within the cell. These structural features highlight DDX56′s importance in maintaining proper ribosomal function and cellular homeostasis, making DDX56 a significant target for research in developmental biology and disease mechanisms.
