DDX41 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DDX41 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX41 (C-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX41, also known as probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX41, is a 622 amino acid protein encoded by the human gene DDX41. DDX41 is a member of the DEAD box helicase family and features a CCHC-type zinc finger, a helicase ATP-binding domain, and a helicase C-terminal domain, which are crucial for function. DDX41 plays a significant role in post-transcriptional gene expression, particularly in pre-mRNA splicing, making DDX41 essential for proper processing of RNA molecules. DDX41′s helicase activity is vital as DDX41 unwinds RNA structures, facilitating various biological processes such as transcription, splicing, and translation. By understanding DDX41′s function and interactions within cells, researchers can gain insights into regulatory mechanisms of gene expression and potential implications in diseases associated with RNA processing.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-166225 X be used instead of the standard form sc-166225?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
