DDX41 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects DDX41 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX41 is a 622 amino acid protein encoded by the human gene DDX41 and is a member of the DEAD box helicase family, specifically the DDX41 subfamily. DDX41 plays a crucial role in post-transcriptional gene expression, particularly in pre-mRNA splicing, which is essential for the proper processing of RNA molecules before translation into proteins. The structure of DDX41 includes one CCHC-type zinc finger, one helicase ATP-binding domain, and one helicase C-terminal domain, which are vital for function as a probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase.
