DAZAP2 Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DAZAP2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DAZAP2 (G-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DAZAP2, or DAZ-associated protein 2, is a 108 amino acid proline-rich protein that plays a crucial role in spermatogenesis, RNA splicing, transcription regulation, and cell signaling. DAZAP2 is particularly important due to its involvement in the interaction with DAZ (deleted in azoospermia), a gene associated with infertility in men. DAZAP2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is encoded by a gene on human chromosome 12, which is known to harbor over 1,100 genes and is implicated in various diseases, including hypochondrogenesis and Noonan syndrome. DAZAP2′s interactions with other key proteins, such as Sox-6 and DAZL, highlight DAZAP2′s significance in cellular processes and potential role in the pathogenesis of conditions like multiple myeloma. Understanding DAZAP2′s function and interactions is essential for elucidating DAZAP2′s contributions to reproductive health and disease mechanisms.
